Trite, But True

Sadness or not, life goes on.

To relatives reading this: dad was sent to the hospital today so the dinner for his 70th birthday will likely be postponed. Anyway, I'm sure my mom will call you about it.

Here, as a distraction, are some recent pics:

1) My boys, watching TV early in the morning before school. The older boy is wearing a sweater my mom knitted.



2) A thumb-sized, crocheted, minimalist Yoda.


3) A book (c. 1991) I got at thrift store for 52 cents. There are lots of knitted and crocheted toys in this one, but all the pictures I took were too crappy to post.


I love this crocheted pig.


Knitted toys include: monkey, bunny, kitten, various dolls in ethnic costumes, hippo, caterpillar, finger puppets
Crocheted toys include: ball made of pentagons, bear, lion, puppy, elephant, turtle
