Barbara Walker, 2T
Finished a crocheted cupcake paperweight (it's got a rock inside, padded with stuffing), and amost finished one sock when...

... my Barbara Walker, Second Treasury of Knitting Patterns arrived! It did not disappoint. In fact, it's the most exciting knitting book I think I've ever bought. Oh, the possibilities for textured picture knitting! Along with the Gingerbread Castle, there's this cottage,

(please excuse the fuzzy photos - it was late evening when I snapped these)
this windmill,

these candy-canes (it's called "Fish Hooks", but if you turn it upside down, as in a top-down sweater, it becomes candy-canes),

these branches and vines,

and abstract but interesting looking panels like this one.

I want to swatch practically everything - maybe make a blanket out of the swatches. Woo hoo!
