New Cushions

So much for the summer haitus. In retrospect, I should've said that I'd be posting less, but possibly not at all, over the summer.

Anyway, on to describing minor events in my life, mostly because I have pictures.

Thanks to KS and NM, we have new cushions on the benches. This is where I read these days, reclining on this bench.

There are also new cushions on the porch bench. You can see how nicely the fabric coordinates with Chicken's shirt.


We have a new feathered resident. Unfortunately, the robin decided to build its nest on our drain pipe. I'd like to remove the nest before there are droppings all over the brick and pipe, but I guess I'm stuck until the hatchlings leave.


I bought some sale fabric today because it was cheap and the pattern was irresistable. It's for lining a knitted purse, but I bought so much that I'll be sewing other stuff soon - just not sure what, yet.


A message for RG, because I know he reads this blog: guess who was at aikido on Sunday? Not only was PT there, but WJ was as well! Pretty neat, huh? Yet another reason to join the dojo. :-)
