Sunday Pumpkins
We carved pumpkins on Sunday. The kids scooped out the insides and drew the faces, and I did the cutting and carving.

They decorated this tree at the in-laws' place. They're quite proud of it.

In non-Halloween news, I made this little knitting brooch from toothpicks, beads, and single-ply yarn, with a safety pin sewn to the back. I dabbed white glue on the "needle" to keep the stitches from sliding off. I couldn't actually knit with the toothpicks because they weren't smooth, so instead I used the smallest needles I had, then slipped the stitches to the toothpick. For a low-tech craft, I think it turned out pretty well.
