Cake or Death
Some failed experiments - a knitted slice of cake...

... and a crocheted skull.


Here are the parts of the skull before assembly.



No pattern for either of these, but I'll post the pages from my sketch book later in the week so that you can play around with the construction if you like.
In other crafty news, I made this doll from a Jess Hutchison pattern, after seeing a similar one on the Craftster web forum. It's quite small, as you can see. I disliked making the arms and legs, but that's to be expected, as I don't like knitting small tubes - too finicky.


After knitting her dress, I thought it might be fun to knit a small sweater for the crocheted cat.


I was wrong - it wasn't any fun. Again, the small tubes. That's why this little crocheted bear is limbless.
